Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by Chris S — 07 Dec 2011
This is obviously not your typical western, but a character study to the max. The movie feeds off of the inordinate relationship between Jesse James and Robert Ford and director Andrew Dominik's aesthetic cinematography will grip every movie watcher.
If you have no appreciation in slow movies, this may not be for you. On the other hand, if you enjoy slow paced movies that study the psychology of each character, your in for a treat.
