Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by Xgary X — 29 Jun 2012
For the first time since Legends of the Fall, I can honestly say that Brad Pitt deserves Oscar recognition. He plays the role of Jesse James as though he were born to it. While not your typical action packed 'Western' it is worth the 2hr plus viewing time.
Casey like Brad proves his acting chops as a sychphant turned stalker turned murderous coward. This is a thinking man's movie it is not for 'Action Nuts'.
