Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by Andrew C — 05 Jun 2013
The movie doesn't have much going on at any point in time. The best part was the train robbery and that was about 7 minutes if movie. The rest was just boring talk. Wasn't even interesting talk.
The acting throughout was great except for Brad Pitt. His acting just wasn't that good. His part was extremely small compared to Casey Affleck's part or even Sam Rockwell's. Pitt is a great actor but he just doesn't show it in this movie.
It's an all right movie because of the acting from the acting and maybe a few bits of story but that's all there is here. Little bits and pieces that shine.
