Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by Phil T — 10 Nov 2010
Well acted despite the highly irritating mumbling, rather atmospheric but it really, REALLY drags. The haunting score and visuals can't help disguise the fact that the director seems overly keen on a few pet techniques and they don't always work.
