One of my all-time favorite movies. I've seen this movie end to end three times and like it all the more. The pace of the movie is slow but definitely not boring. They captured the feel of the period with buildings and costumes that most westerns don't seem to capture.
The cinematography is amazing. The soundtrack is great. It is the best background movie soundtrack that I can think of and is the best one I've heard since the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack. I can't think of a better acting job that Brad Pitt has done and he was outdone by Casey Affleck.
Sam Rockwell was great as Charley Ford. This movie is more biographical of Jesse James last days than any dime store novel account of his life. I highly recommend this movie.
