Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by Rocco M — 28 Mar 2011
Long title, long movie. But it's worth every single dense and atmospheric second of this dreamlike, introspective and character-driven experience. By far the best neo western ever created, although it's more a drama in a western suit.
But compared to this film, True Grit is a bad joke. I'm extremely amazed.
