Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by James O — 06 Jun 2011
A decent retelling of the Jesse James story and interesting to put the focus back on Robert Ford. Fairly good acting throughout but the plot is too small moving. Another attempt at a masterpiece that fails rather than focusing on just telling the story well.
So many films like this that are ostentatiously produced and are just noxiously boring.
