The beauty of the shot composition in this film is out shined by slow pacing, pointless dialogue sequences, and redundancy. Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck turn in powerhouse performances, but this film can only really be recommended to cinephiles, as the average viewer will be left bored and drowsy.
