Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by Collette R — 07 Mar 2013
An interesting, methodical style of verité storytelling frames this fascinating tale of Jesse James and the man who admires him, to dire consequences. Brad Pitt is moody and effective, Casey Affleck is eerie and sympathetic.
Everything is laid out in front of you and you just have to enjoy it. A unique film.
