A very good example of noir with the usual boxes ticked and a few more besides. Sam Jaffe as Doc Erwin Riedenschneider is that amenable that I would happily sign up to any caper he had planned, a belter criminal master-mind if ever there was one.
My favourite line was "If you want fresh air, don't look for it in this town".
