Review of The Asphalt Jungle (1950) by X. T — 28 May 2008
The prototypical caper film told from the robber's perspective. All of the characters are subtly portrayed. Cinematography is beautiful though I wish the city itself was used more. I wonder if all the bleak ending of these films are simply due to the Hay's code.
