Brilliant on multiple levels. Not a single word was spoken [Spoiler: Well, at least not until the ending], however, "The Artist" successfully manages to grab hold of our attention and remind us all of the exquisite beauty that founded and inspired the motion picture industry.
"The Artist" is simple, fun, romantic, and downright delightful, all while paying a gorgeous homage to our cinematic culture. It is a perfect film, a rare feat, and without-a-doubt the Best Picture of 2011.
