Review of The Artist (2011) by Nickolas U — 09 May 2013
A spectacular achivement in film. Nothing like I've ever seen before. The Artist has it all. Catchy tunes, a love story, and a dog companion. I just didn't want it to be over. The Artist defines film.
Ask me anything about the true meaning of film and I'll say The Artist. A lovely spectacle it is. Elders who are in their 80s or so will love it, and bring them back. Not to be stereotypical or anything like that.
And kids probably won't find it interesting. Probably cause kids would rather watch terrible movies like The Smurfs or Yogi Bear. But young adults and adults will truly enjoy it. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
It's perfect in every way. I'd say I'd put The Artist somewhere in my top 500 favorite movies. And THAT is an honor.
