Review of The Artist (2011) by Betty B — 15 May 2013
This film was so unique in the way it used sound to symbolize only the most important things in the movie. The director took a huge risk making a silent film in this day and age, but it worked. The movie was very entertaining and the performances were great.
I just didn't like the ending of the movie, if they hadn't let him talk, I think it would have made the film a lot more symbolic.
