"The Artist" is mimicking the silent movie era and it does it very well! The movie is easy to follow and amuses itself to discuss about the transition between silent movie to movie with sounds, which was a very smart move.
The casting is believable and were able to give emotions with just their expressions.
Easy to watch and not boring, the movie succeed in what it wanted to highlight: silent movie can still be a success and still be amusing to watch. Bravo !
