This Academy Award nom for "Best Picture" takes you back to 1927 and a movie star in an Era without sound. My last silent movie was during film class in college and this flick is a must-see for motion picture purists.
I enjoyed this historical flashback like a teen today would fancy a taste of a Walkman, Pong, or a rotary dial phone. This movie's plot is average-to-good but to focus on that alone misses the film's best feature.
