A'ght, this movie did reminded me of a couple of things from the golden era. One would be Singin' in the Rain, for the obvious reasons. Two would be Clark Gable. Jean Dujardin has this Clark Gable appeal in Gone With the Wind that I can't just ignore.
But here's the thing, the French does have a way to amaze us without words and just converse with movements and captured picture. In some way, I felt like am George Valentin, I don't wanna give up the silent motion picture.
