*GREAT MOVIE* It's 2011, and this is a movie in not only black and white, but not a word is spoken until the last few minutes, when you stand and applaud. It plays with the fact that it's silent, because the story is very relevant and ironic, and quite honestly it's just a funny, beautiful movie about love, cinema, the great depression, relationships and the silent film transitioned over to sound.
