Review of The Artist (2011) by Do You Even Jay C — 20 Aug 2013
The movie focuses on silent movies and their decline by making a silent movie which speaks by itself. There are indeed no need for words when feelings are so well depicted and the story, although quite flat, is classical and therefore likable.
Romance is scattered over the movie, without being too obvious or, really, disturbing.
It is nice to see how the movie has been cleverly been filmed without the need to abuse of computer effects.
