Review of The Art of Self-Defense (2019) by Goreminister — 18 Nov 2019

This time Jesse Eisenberg doesn´t fight zombies, he fights his inner fears and tries to become a Karateka. Well, some sites consider this a Comedy, but it´s surely no as funny as you might expect. Sometimes it´s dark and disturbing, BUT the story is nice and has interesting twists waiting for you.

Also it´s pretty brutal sometimes, but the director Riley Sterns succeeds to bring us an interesting story, interesting charakters and a movie that´s not boring at all. Sure, it´s not perfect and has it´s flaws, but if you like slow, quiet movies, you definetly enjoy this one.
