Review of The Art of Getting By (2011) by Lorna B — 02 Sep 2011
Take some teenage angst and depression, a coming-of-age, and a slightly quirky highschool love story of sorts, blend it all together and you roughly get this film.
For most of the time, the tone of it was a bit too depressive for my liking, and it keeps you wondering when the film will eventually turn around. beside that, freddie highmore and emma roberts play decent roles, while I did not recognise alicia silverstone at all.
