Review of The Arrival (1996) by Tyler W — 03 Jul 2009
This film is unengaging and never once managed to grab and hold my attention for more than five seconds. The opening minutes showed what some could say was a promising premise once the signal is found, but it goes downhill from there.
What ensues is a political thriller with uninteresting twists and turns and little e.t. activity considering how this film has been classied. I also need to add how sh*tty Charlie Sheen's performance was.
I mean he did what was aked of him I'm sure, but he had only one facial expression the whole movie. Wide eyed and jaw dropped the entire time. I thought his head was going to explode. I blame this disappointment on the story and extremely misleading plot description.
