Review of The Arrival (1996) by Bill T — 15 Jan 2010
Conspiracy movie with Charlie Sheen as an astronomer who finds signs of Alien life, when he reports it to the authorities, well, the authorities do their best ti cover it up. Why?? That's up to Sheen and his late 90's hairdo to find out.
Full of over-the-top mugging by Sheen, this movie takes itself far too seriously at times, which saps the fun out of it. It's ok, if you're expecting not too much. But, as the Spice Girls once said, Too Much Of Nothing is Not Enough.
I have no idea what the hell I am trying to say.
