You can usually tell which films are minor Disney classics because they don't have a memorable song. You can remember the melodies to at least one song from Snow White, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast, but can you remember a single song from The AristoCats? Not that it's a bad movie, but it's not as memorable as Disney's other films like The Little Mermaid or 101 Dalmatians.
What I can say about The AristoCats is that there's a plot that involves a rich widow leaving all her money to her cats, making her butler very jealous. As much as I like animals, I had to side with the antagonist of this film.
How can you honestly leave all your money to your cats? I'm overanalyzing and this is just the humor of the movie. The AristoCats is not bad and you'll probably like it a lot more if you like jazz and maybe more people remember the song "Ev'rybody Wants to be a Cat" more than I think.
