As Disney animation goes, this is highly disappointing. It's well drawn, as is to be expected, but that's all it has going for it. The story is lifeless and dull, and the running time seems much longer than its actual hour and 18 minutes.
I never liked this movie as a kid, and having gone back and watched it again, I completely understand why.
