Review of The Apple (1998) by Nat G — 18 Feb 2008
A Iranian movie that tells the story of a impoverished and religious father who kept his twin daughters locked up at home for the first 12 years of their lives. A true story using the real twins as actresses, the director tells there story.
A haunting film yet still has funny moments, filmed in a very raw way, there are no special effects and is realistic as possible. Not an easy film to watch, but it is very interesting, as it is strange.
