Review of The Apparition (2012) by Koko M — 30 Aug 2012

Was I scared, yes. Did it last? No. Did I love the characters/actors? Yes. Did I like the storyline? No. Would I recommend the film? Depends. If yoÃÃ,Ã,¹ want to be scared a bit but not terried to go to sleep at night then this is the movie for yoÃÃ,Ã,¹.

But you love horror films this isn't the film for you. They made the movie more about the couples relationship than the actual haunting. However the acting was good and I would've actually preferred to had seen more of Tom Felton than I did I still thought the acting was good.

They were some of my favorite actors but the movie at the end falls hard. But leaves you thinking.... When she walked into the store at the end was she already taken then or was she alive, got into the tent then was taken.

I believe the first one which is only true thinking put into this film. What I took from it was this. Don't FUCK with spirits that clearly don't want to be messed with. Leave the "paranormal" alone.

It's the paranormal for a reason. Never try to contact things and yoÃÃ,Ã,¹ won't have that problem. If they wanted it to be truely terrifying they should've added more story line and backstory into the actual man they were trying to contact.

All in all. It gave me chills and I ran out the theatre eager to see sunlight. Will I be able to sleep at night though? Yes like a baby. I just wish the movie was more like what they advertised it to be.

I remember reading Tom Felton's tweets when they were filming it and it wasn't what I expected. Unfortunately. But knowing me if it were any more scary I would've been scared shitless out the theatre.

I give it three stars simply cause of my love for Tom Felton as an actor and Ashley Greene as an actress and for for having amazing hair through our the film. And Sebastian for having those beautiful hard to turn away eyes.

That right there says a lot. Sadly.
