Review of The Apparition (2012) by Stacey O — 11 Aug 2013
Cliched and/or derivative horror films are pretty common, so originality is rarely expected from horror fans. "The Apparition" is one such highly unoriginal horror film about the haunting of a young couple, but it also fails to be either interesting or scary.
The film does manage to be predictable, dull, and have Ashley Greene cavorts around is PG-13 underwear throughout a good portion of the film. Derivative horror films like "Insidious" can most certainly be scary and involving, but this film is really only able to offer audiences decent production value and a likable cast.
