Review of The Apostle (1997) by Kevin H — 28 Apr 2008
I like this movie for several reasons. First Robert Duval always does an excellent job in whatever he does. The movie was well written and even though the theme is a preacher who fails they are not disrespectuful towards Christianity. What I saw here in an authentic look at man's struggles with sin yet he still wanted to follow God and in the end he knew there had to be consequences for his sins.
I highly recommend it.
