Review of The Apartment (1960) by Danny P — 17 Feb 2012
Never could suicide and adultery be turned into such a pleasant movie. Never could a film set for the most part in either the office or apartment, be so fresh. Not perfect (it does seem to drag on a tad) but Wilder's satire and the typical brilliance of Lemmon and MacClaine carry this movie through.
