It's funny and charming, moving and triumphant, as well a chilling and heartbreaking. Wilder seamlessly takes the viewer through the trials of life in difficult situations and the happy moments in between.
The characters end in a better place, as you'd expect, but the journey isn't as light-hearted as your typical romantic comedy. It's a great film.
