Review of The Animatrix (2003) by Alex R — 15 Jul 2008
I remember liking a few of the pieces but being absolutely bored stiff by the end. I think the charm of the Matrix movies lied in the intersection of reality with illusion and the unbelievable, and when it gets animated it just becomes all "illusion", as it were, and for me just isn't that interesting.
