Review of The Angry Red Planet (1959) by Gus S — 17 May 2008
It is kind of impossible to have grown up in the 60s/70s without loving the improbably cheesy products of the Pink/Melchior crew. This one is noteworthy for the monsters, of course, and for the rash-inducing "comic relief" performance by Oscar-nominated Jack Kruschen.
I think the hilarious rotating-eyeball blob ate him simply because it had seen a rough cut of the film.
