The Angry Birds Movie is extremely fun and clever with a freshly original world and really unique sense of designs for both the settings and the characters. Who would've thought a silly mobile game can be made into such a beautiful movie, right? But it was pretty damn awesome, especially from a character design and animation stand point. I definitely hope for sequels and spin-offs. I wouldn't mind looking at these silly non-flying birds on screen many many times.

Angry Birds is one of the most political relevant movies of this year so far. If you think about it you'll see what I mean. There are so many parallels could be made from this little silly cartoon to the state of the real world we're living in right now. Immigrants, colonialism, American politics, war,... Hiding behind the funny and colorful looking birds are actually pretty darn grim and sad stories about a world torn apart by "Anger".
