Angry Birds movie is one of those slight, bright and candy coated films that is quite enjoyable in the moment but meaningless the minute it's over. To be fair, it could've been a lot worse than it actually is.
It never bores and it has enough action and bright colors to entertain kids, but there is no bone thrown to the adults in the audience. The film often finds itself in a loud and pop song infused groove that adults might find grating.
The message presented in the film is also slightly questionable. You won't be sorry you saw Angry Birds, but it won't linger in your mind long enough to warrant much admiration. Rating 55.
