This movie pleased my entire family. My wife loved the political metaphor. (See how long before you catch it.) I loved the perfectly thin veiled crude humor, and my 4 year old kid loved his favorite characters and all the destruction.
Expect tons of easter eggs especially if you played Mean Piggies. I don't usually like kids movies, but this is great even if you have no kids. HIGHLY recommended.
