Surprisingly enjoyable. It’s not a great movie, but there weren’t any moments I disliked or was particularly bored by. The story isn’t particularly amazing, but it’s decent, the characters are for the most part good I didn’t really like the villain at all but she was serviceable.

And there were some genuinely funny moments. There were also quite a few eye-rollers, often coming right after funny moments, but yeah I’d say the movie is actually funny. From what I can remember it’s actually an improvement over the sequel which was also good.

Weird thing about the movie is it doesn’t really feel like it relates that much to the game anymore (maybe there’s some newer ones that do relate but I wouldn’t know). There are also a huge number of licensed songs that come out of nowhere and are a little annoying, but it didn’t bother me too much.

The animation is really good, there weren’t any parts that looked bad. I mean it wasn’t all particularly interesting to look at but yeah it does look good. And the voice acting is mostly good as well but there are some weird choices with certain celebrity voice actors that come out of nowhere that I just didn’t recognize until the end when they pointed em out aside from a few.

But yeah I enjoyed it overall it’s not great or anything though.
