Review of The Angriest Man in Brooklyn (2014) by Kyle M — 03 Apr 2017
Functions like a neorealist film (when it's not) from a simplistic plot that could've gone for real-time rather than rushing, even though it still reached towards a meaningful end result from accurate emotions within a depicted spiritual atmosphere. It was well-acted with some amusements from Kunis' charming performance to Williams' compelling performance when channeling anger and desperation most of the time with the same warmth at a rare amount he usually gives from his presence. It's all good with couple funny moments, but it doesn't have much to offer, which would explain why the film's level couldn't go beyond its given rating. (B-).
