Review of The Angriest Man in Brooklyn (2014) by Malevolent1991 M — 23 Aug 2014
A slightly dysfunctional movie about a highly dysfunctional father, Phil Robinson's latest work continues to follow the modern trend of combining Robin Williams' stand-up jokes with the existing script.
Williams is the film's only true comedic force, while the rest of the cast speed walks to catch up. That being said, sometimes the gags pay off and other times they feel forced. Throughout this familiar narrative, Williams manages to retain his energy and spirit, allowing the Angriest Man in Brooklyn to find his heart (but not much else).
