A rather charming wee film. The acting/casting/characterisation are all spot on and it looks lovely. For a wee while at the beginning I wondered where it was going, and hoped it was going somewhere. It did and I wasn't disappointed.

If you aren't Scottish, you might not appreciate it quite as much as I did, or perhaps I am underestimating it a bit. The comedy element was gentle and came easily, and there was just enough of it, including some delightful belly laughs.

I left the cinema for the first time in ages with a smile on my face. :-).
