Review of The Angels' Share (2012) by Mahlon M — 02 May 2013

Quite an enjoyable little movie, that is much bigger than it seems. It's set in Scotland (and the subtitles actually do help) but Tom completely understood the protagonist's situation from his experienc growing up on the Westside of Buffalo.

Ah, how universal (and few) are the themes of literary/dramatic forms! And there were classic, broad comedic scenes that I don't usually appreciate that had me guffawing out loud along with the whole audience.

Well worth a night at the movies!
