Review of The Anderson Tapes (1971) by N H — 30 Sep 2008
Just above middling caper movie directed by Sidney Lumet, who has done far better in his career. Sean Connery and the introduction of Christopher Walken, in his first major motion picture, as stated in the opening credits, make it mildly enjoyable to watch.
It's funny that Walken's character is only know as The Kid. Some scenes were worthwhile others weren't. Looks very dated. Could have been more effective if the screenplay was stronger. The whole thing comes off as kind of weak.
