Spoiler ! where the hell did Cathy Lutz take the shotgun out at the end ??? terrible terrible terrible adaptation .

So where do I even start, what a missed opportunity since the 1979 version also deviated a lot from the true story at least it got certain things right and while nowadays it seems a little cliché and uses a lot of gimmics of the time it was one of the firsts of its kind and inspired classics like the shining and poltergeist, while this version simply ripped these movies off.

And yes , Jody is a little creepy girl now because we havent seen that before right ?This movie had the possibility to follow the true story more accuratly and could have even done something original with it .

Bottom line is , everybody who saw it back in 2005 at the theatre should feel ripped off and that sums it all up , RIP OFF!
