An American president falls in love with a journalist. The premise itself doesnâ??t sound to exciting and, having seen American cinema place their president in the most varied storylines, it doesnâ??t even sound too original, and that is what makes its maturity and its sensible reflections on media a very pleasant surprise.
The classicist style mixed with the films modern reflections, particularly considering the Clinton sexgate that shorty followed, works charmingly well.
