Review of The American (2010) by Stephen M — 05 May 2011
The film feels like a slow, methodically paced tribute to espionage/thriller films of the '70s, and it's SUCH a fun ride. The cinematography is gorgeous, the locales are lovely to look at and I'd highly recommend checking it out.
Anton Corbijn continues to make great looking cinema that everyone should at least try once, see if it's to your taste.
