Review of The American (2010) by Becky T — 29 May 2011
From the Trailers, I thought I was in for an action packed treat of espionage and assassination. It was neither. It moved very slowly and seemed more like a travel advertisement than a movie. It lacked the "meat" of a good story.
He is shown being cold and then snap! He falls for some hooker without pretense. The story just makes no real sense. George Clooney looks old and just plain tired. Leave this movie on the shelf.
