When a friend of mine, (Kevin Wyile) told me about this movie, he said that it was really slow and disappointing, and when he described it to me, it sounded a lot like a terrible movie called THE LIMITS OF CONTROL, where nothing happens.
Well, now that I have seen it, I can see what he means, but since I have seen THE LIMITS OF CONTROL, The American looks like a action fest in comparison, and then throw in George Clooney, and you have an ok slow burn movie, but I do see what Kevin means.
