Review of The American (2010) by Ippei K — 03 Jul 2011
A little too "artsy-fartsy" for its own good. It's a slow building movie with some amazing photography and my man George is great as always, but beneath it all. It's your stock standard "hitman wants out of the game" scenario.
Don't expect any edge of your seat stuff and give it some time to cook and you'll enjoy it. Otherwise, it's a little bit of a snore fest.
