Less pretentious than The Limits of Control, more serious than The Matador, this is an interesting new direction for Photographer come Director Anton Corbijn that boasts a lovely understated performance from George Clooney, some beautifully shot, crisply detached scenes of Euro-style violence and the occasional obligatory existential musing.
