Review of The American (2010) by Chaseh — 02 Sep 2010
A tightly wound, quiet thriller that delivers for the most part. Clooney is excellent. Photography is beautiful. Some people might gripe that their is not much action, but action is not tension, and their is plenty of tension in this film to keep you interested.
Clooney keeps making these small gems and we as moviegoers are the better for it.
